What kind of jobs can I get with a BA in speech and hearing sciences?

Ive decided to major in the above. I should graduate in December. I strive for a speech language pathologist, but I do not want to graduate school immediately. What kind of job can I do with a BA. I want a break from school to travel and explore my life to take. Professor pathologist, audiologist, college or university "http://www.indiana.edu/ ~ udiv/majors/majorinfo.cgi/102 Hope that helps I am a speech therapist and have been for 17 years .You can get laid work doing speech therapy in a variety of configurations. Just make sure you get adequate training in the areas in which to work. For example, most of my training at educational institutions in changing times, I was more interested in working in health care and had many new skills to learn on the job. This is a retreat, and a benefit for speech and hearing. The labor market is wide open. I get several calls a week on job vacancies. I had an interview for a job in an upscale suburban school district, said the president, "Yes, you have the right level and you breath.do job?" In another interview, I was told that I have a job to be offered before the instructor even matters. It really is that easy to get a job. So there are benefits for casual calls to the home health agencies and hospitals to work. I do this on hand when I need a little more money. With this job, I can always say no if I do not want to do it. It is a great professional. Good luck .
